It is never too late to bring a little bit of color to your Portland apartment for a change in apartment décor. It’s springtime, so out with the old and in with the new. If you want to change your apartment décor to reflect the beauty of spring and summer, check out these tips for spring decorating ideas.
- Lampshade Liner: Brighten up plain shades with a pretty lining that comes to life when you flip the switch.
- Place Mats for Two: Table runners are often decorative, but they can also be practical. Arrange them horizontally across a table to turn them into place mats shared by diners seated across from each other.
- New Bed Skirt: It’s hard to decide which is the bigger eyesore: an exposed box spring or some of the froufrou dust ruffles currently on the market. One easy, low-cost solution is to cover the box spring with a drape of rectangular fabric.
- Spring’s Natural Vase: An oversize eggshell filled with flowers unites two symbols of spring in a single arrangement.
These tips can help to bring the best of spring into your Portland apartment. What colors scream spring to you? Tell us in a comment.
